Certified Nurse Assistant Having A Hard Time With Communicable Diseases

Flu, tuberculosis, common cold, measles, chicken fox, and strep throat are some of the common communicable diseases. These diseases can be transferred from one individual to another some of these diseases are highly infectious. To some who have records of medical issues, their immune systems have the hard time fighting it.

Diseases like this can be spread through urine, stools, saliva, blood, and other bodily fluids from the body of affected individual. It is everybody’s responsibility to take good care of their health and maintain balance hygiene because communicable diseases spread like a wildfire. Simple washing of hands is effective start in order to have a good health. Some of the germs cannot survive with soap and water. That’s why Certified Nurse Assistant are asked to wash their hands frequently because they have direct contact with the patients

Responsibility of a Certified Nurse Assistant is to immediately inform your supervisor if there are changes or symptoms of communicable disease. If needed because of the disease you need to work with respirator to avoid the spread of disease to somebody else. Sometimes it is reported to health department so that they will be aware.

Strep throat can be cured with antibiotics, other communicable diseases should be check up by a doctor. You should always wash your hands, take your vitamins, and get you annual flu shot. Good health should start in you.
